Personal Development & Skills Builder
The Personal Development Journey outlines the opportunities students will experience beyond their subject studies.
The aim of the Learning Journey is to provide students with the chance to develop new skills that will be useful to them in future life.
We strongly encourage our students to participate in as many of these opportunities as possible.
These opportunities aim to give our students the edge and go 'beyond grades' in equipping them with life-long skills, employability and happiness.

Skills Builder
Hugh Christie is delighted to be part of the Skillsbuilder partnership; a collaboration between business and educators to develop the essential skills for future employment.
There are six skills that students will develop during their time at Hugh Christie.
Each skill is levelled in terms of difficulty so pupils can steadily improve and develop.
As part of their independent learning, pupils are encouraged to look at the daily challenges on the skills builder website. These can be accessed using the link in the access links below.
